What role do the different organs in the Excretory System play?
These two pictures show you many of the Excretory and Urinary System organs.
There are many parts to the Excretory & Urinary System, each system helps expel waste from the body.
Kidneys- These two organs filter wastes from the blood such as urea, water, and urine.

Bladder- This hollow, muscular organ collects urine that is excreted from the kidneys prior to disposal by urinating.

Rectum-The waste from the large intestine is compressed into a solid form where its passed to the anus. It also expels water and other liquid from the solid form of the waste.
Anus- A muscular opening that is at the end of the rectum that pushes out the solid waste that is passed on by the rectum.
