Friday, April 27th is The National Day of Silence. Day of Silence is a student led national event organized in thousands of schools, bringing awareness to the silencing effects of anti-LGBTQ name-calling, bullying, and harassment in schools. Students take a vow of silence in an effort to encourage others to address the problem of anti-LGBTQ behavior. Click on the Participation Pledge here to pledge your silence! At 2:59, we will break the silence together as an Attea Community with some school spirit. Participant cards and brochures will be available in the school foyer before school.
Members of our Society of Women Engineers are hosting a guest speaker, Dr. Susan Finkbeiner at their next meeting on Thursday, March 22nd. Students from Attea are invited to this event to hear her amazing story.
